I've run the gambit of work in film and tv. I am a writer, director, actor, producer, stunt coordinator, gun wrangler, cinematographer, editor, sports director, location scout, casting director, lighting director, set decorator and a
film/tv/journalism teacher...whew! You name it...I've done it.
Mostly, I consider myself a writer and director. I am always looking for new expressions. I'm very proud to have started The B-Side, a music, art, talk & activism talk show at www.thebsidetalk.com or www.facbook.com/thebsidetalk which aims to create a New Journalism Paradigm. This idea not only crowd-sources our funding, but our producers and journalists too. We accept no commercial sponsors nor influences from corporate entities, which allows us to keep our reporting, critiques, reviews and endorsements untainted, unbiased and free of the gobbledygook which is gumming up most media. Below is a sampling of my work. Happy clicking!

A Moment in Ruby is a short film based on the true events of August 26th, 1921, Ruby, Arizona. The film chronicles the final moments, as told me by my grandmother, of the attack from bandits which left her parents dead, her aunt wounded and running with her to find help. This was an amazing production which brought much acclaim to the film and its lead actress, an incredible, six year old, Moira Mendoza.
It was important for me to tell this story with all the dialogue and action the way my grandmother remembered it because she was always afraid of the Hollywoodization of her past. She had often been approached by those who wanted to make a film about the bloodbath of that day, but she always said to me, "Murder is not entertainment. Murder is what happened to my parents!"
